To introduce Google Cloud’s AlloyDB to a global developer-first audience, we built a campaign that did more than just market a product - it spoke directly to developers in their own language. ‘Talking in Code’ was an unconventional and insight-driven approach designed to cut through the noise, acknowledge real developer frustrations, and spark curiosity.

Developers and IT decision-makers  are rarely the direct focus of marketing, and when they are, they can see right through traditional sales tactics. To earn their trust, our campaign needed to be authentic, addressing real pain points with PostgreSQL- the very challenges AlloyDB is built to solve.

We developed an engaging, developer-centric campaign that turned technical frustrations into compelling talking points, using a distinct, code-inspired visual identity. Every touchpoint, from copy to design, was carefully crafted to be on-brand yet tailored for the expert audience. By balancing technical credibility with accessibility, we encouraged engagement and inspired developers to explore AlloyDB for themselves.
