Marking the launch of Firepower, we built an interactive experience that challenged fans to make their mark in true Judas Priest fashion. By combining precision, timing, and the band’s signature aesthetic, it delivered an unforgettable way to connect with the music.

Set within a hellfire-themed microsite, the experience immersed users in the raw energy of Firepower, allowing them to personalise their name in Judas Priest’s signature typography. But this was more than just a name generator. Fans had to prove their headbanger status by striking their keyboard in time with the album’s riffs, unleashing their fully rendered 3D creation.

The experience set social media ablaze as devoted fans shared their custom designs, generating a surge of engagement across platforms. By blending music, gaming, and digital craftsmanship, we created a celebration worthy of metal legends, capturing the attention of lifelong Judas Priest followers and new recruits alike.

Highlights – The microsite drove 1.5M page views in a week, generating 175K+ fan-made logos and helping Firepower hit #5 on the UK chart (Judas Priest’s first top 10 since 1980). It won the 2018 BIMA Award for Communications and Content: Small Budget.
