For Google’s 26th birthday, we didn’t just celebrate - we got the world playing. Instead of a traditional merchandise campaign, we proposed Tap Tempo, a rhythm-based mini-game that turned the Google Store Birthday Sale into a music-driven, high-stakes challenge.

With simple yet addictive gameplay, Tap Tempo challenged players to tap Google icons in perfect rhythm to a custom soundtrack. Each perfect beat scored points, with top players earning stackable 15% discount codes.

To fuel competition, we introduced special gameplay modes that increased difficulty and excitement. The campaign spread across Google’s Content Hub, Google Store, and social platforms, driving mass participation and making the Birthday Sale a true event.


Highlights – With 100,000+ active users in just three days, Tap Tempo became an instant hit, expanding across four markets and three languages.
