Ahead of a fresh rebrand as part of Bumble’s Sleepy Girl campaign for a new era of daters, we created hyper-real CGI videos that transformed everyday cityscapes into dreamlike installations, turning the idea of dating fatigue into a visually iconic moment.
Designed to feel both surreal and amazingly real, we crafted photorealistic 3D models of oversized Bumble beds, complete with branded pillows and labelled sheets. These installations were seamlessly composited into real-world cinematic footage, placing them in the heart of London’s Trafalgar Square and along the golden shores of Santa Monica Beach.
To heighten realism, we incorporated environmental flourishes including subtle windblown fabric, shifting shadows, and even a bird landing softly on the canopy. Working closely with Bumble Creative Studio, we refined every detail to ensure the execution felt as believable as it was unexpected. The result? A standout digital moment that blurred the lines between fantasy and reality, flooding social feeds with reactions ranging from ‘Is this real?’ to ‘Obsessed!!!’.
