Born in York, raised in Oxford, went to Uni in Leeds and have been living in London ever since. One day I’ll cycle across the world. I love travel. I love cycling. It’s a no-brainer.
Looking back, what is the most obvious sign from your childhood that pointed to your future career?
My earliest memory was tracing Bart Simpson off the TV when I was a nipper. Throughout school my folders and books were covered in cartoons and doodles. I enjoyed art but never knew where it’d take me.
Something surprising about you
When I was 16, I made it onto the front page of the newspaper, but not in a good way. Someone grassed me up for my graffiti antics. I was awoken by the police one morning after 2 hours sleep, and somehow sold them a story that my tag was a gang and we each have our own colour. Blagged!
Still to this day, I don’t know who snitched…
What is your nickname?
If you could create anything, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to set up a guest house/bar somewhere in SE Asia and get in touch with my inner-hippy. A beach shack, serving healthy food, with awesome beats, vintage game consoles, monkeys and strong rum. Chill.
What was your first or worst ever job
I worked at Homebase when I was a teen, and had to wear that bright green and orange uniform. I looked like an inverted carrot. Sad times.
